Climb for a Cause at Inner Peaks During October: We Support WNC

At Inner Peaks, climbing isn’t just about reaching new heights—it’s about the community that lifts us along the way. Western North Carolina (WNC) holds a special place in our hearts. It’s more than a scenic climbing destination—it feels like family. Many of us have spent weekends discovering its crags, hidden boulders, and soaking in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, creating some of our best memories along the way. The WNC climbing scene is all about support, inclusivity, and the joy of shared adventure. Now, after the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene, it’s our turn to give back.

Throughout October, we’re rallying our climbing community to help our neighbors in WNC recover and rebuild. It’s our way of saying thank you to a region that’s always embraced us and ensuring those facing tough times have the support they need to move forward.

How We’re Helping: $1 from Every Day Pass Sold Goes to Mountain Projects

For every Day Pass sold at any Inner Peaks location in October, we are donating $1 to Mountain Projects, a nonprofit based in Asheville, NC. Mountain Projects is actively providing essential services in the aftermath of the hurricane—supporting housing, transportation, and healthcare needs. They are dedicated to helping WNC residents regain their independence and stability during this difficult time.

Why Mountain Projects?

Mountain Projects shares our values of building strong, resilient communities. Their incredible work in WNC aligns with our mission to make a meaningful impact. By donating $1 from every Day Pass directly to their efforts, we hope to harness the strength of our climbing community to support their mission. Every climb, every problem solved, and every top-out this month will help WNC recover.
