    • Yes, and you can use it at all three facilities throughout the day.
  4. Are climbing shoes required?
    • No, but we recommend climbing shoes or closed-toe athletic shoes.
  5. What’s the age minimum to climb?
    • At South End and Matthews, there’s no age minimum, but climbers must weigh at least 25 lbs to use the auto belays.
    • At NoDa (bouldering only), climbers aged 12 and under must be enrolled in an Inner Peaks program to participate.
  6. Can my kids climb here?
    • Yes! At South End and Matthews, kids must meet the 25 lb weight minimum for auto belays.
    • At NoDa, children 12 and under must be enrolled in an Inner Peaks program.
    • A 1 adult-to-3 kids supervision ratio is required.
  7. Do I need to watch the waiver video?
    • Yes, all first-time visitors must watch the video, even if experienced.
  8. How much are climbing classes?
    • Top Rope Class: Free for members, $55 for non-members.
    • Lead Class: $65 for members, $85 for non-members.
  9. How can I learn to climb on tall walls?

  10. Can I rent chalk?
    • Yes, chalk rental is $5.
  11. Will staff be available to help me?
    • Staff provide a full orientation and teach you how to use equipment safely. While they don’t belay or coach, they’re happy to answer questions or give advice!
  12. When are Member-Only Hours?
    • Saturdays at South End from 8 AM to 10 AM.

    • Athletic clothing that allows freedom of movement is recommended. Avoid short-shorts or jeans, and consider climbing shoes for better traction.

  20. How safe is climbing?
    • Climbing carries inherent risks, but our orientations and classes help ensure safety. Indoor climbing doesn’t require helmets, but they’re recommended for outdoor climbing.
  21. Who can belay for a participant under 14?
    • Only adults can belay for participants under 14. Exceptions may be made by management in specific cases.
