New feature: Member’s route setting
Customize your Inner Peaks experience. We will now be hosting member setting nights! On the first Wednesday of every month, from 6:30 to 9:30, members will be able to put up one or two boulder problems with one of our setters standing by to give advice. This is a great way to improve your route-reading skills by learning to decipher the setter’s intended sequence. Setting nights will be free for members only and the first one will take place on November 2nd.
Climb to Support the Special Olympics
Climb to new heights while helping other achieve their own goals. Inner Peaks Climbing Center has teamed up with The Charlotte Speed Demons to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics North Carolina. On Saturday, October 15, from 6:00-9:00 pm, Inner Peaks Climbing Center will open its facility to those who make a minimum $10 donation. Participants will receive unlimited climbing, crate stacking, competitions, live music, food and more. In addition, members of the Speed Demons women’s roller derby team will be on hand to meet and greet those in attendance. This is a great entertainment value for the individual AND all proceeds will benefit Special Olympics North Carolina. So you get to save money and help a deserving cause, win/win.
Over the Edge is an initiative created to raise funds for Special Olympics. For every $1,000 raised by the business, one person will earn the chance to rappel 35 stories down The VUE Charlotte skyscraper in uptown on October 29. So help us go Over the Edge while raising funds to support a group of very deserving athletes.
You can purchase your ticket ahead of time, or just donate to the cause.
