First Time Climbing for Kids

first-time-kids
Under the age of 12 and want to climb? No problem.

You’ll simply need an adult to learn to belay (handle the ropes) for the child. For just $9 (harness rental & gri-gri lesson) an ADULT will learn to handle the ropes for you, and you’ll only need $16 (daypass and harness rental) for each child. Shoes are an optional rental. In this situation, the adult will be unable to climb unless accompanied by another qualified belayer. Again, you can come anytime we’re open, so stay as long as your like.

Are you age 12 or over?
We can get you going right away too! For $23 we can get you climbing in about 15 minutes. You will need a minimum of a daypass, harness and gri-gri lesson if you have never climbed before, with shoes as an optional rental.

Climbing is a partner sport. You’ll need a qualified belayer (the person handling the ropes) to climb with you, so make sure you bring along a friend or other adult to climb with. You can come anytime we’re open and your daypass is good for the day, so stay as long as you like!

All participants are required to have a completed Inner Peaks Waiver, so if you’re under the age of 18, make sure your waiver is completed and signed by your parent.

You’ll need to maintain an adult to child ratio of 1:3 if you bring along friends AND don’t forget to get our waiver signed by the friends’ parents. Any groups of 9 or more participants must be scheduled in advance.
