Birthday Parties for Kids

The Rock’in Birthday Party is is a private session for kids ages 5-11. You will have your own instructors for 1 1/2-hours of supervised climbing.

Next…you’ll have thirty minutes in our party area. We’ll provide paper products, drinks, free visit passes for all your guests AND a T-shirt for the birthday child! Just bring the cake and the kids! Our instructors take care of everything from set-up to the serving of food! They’ll even sing Happy Birthday…if you want!

We like to maintain an instructor:climber ratio of 1:5, so our pricing is as follows:

$105 for 1- 5 participants
$180 for 6-10 participants
$255 for 11-15 participants

16 or more participants:
$255 (Base/15) +$15 for each additional.

Do you have kids ages 12 & up? Not a problem!

The Rock’in
Peak Party is just right.

For ages 12 & older, the pricing is as follows:

$105 for 5 participants plus $15 for each additional. We’ll maintain a maximum instructor to climber ratio of 1:12.

For private group sessions, such as Birthday Parties and Peak Parties, a 50% deposit is required to reserve a time slot. Though no program will be reserved until receipt of deposit, we recommend reserving your party time at least 2-4 weeks ahead for a choice of date and time.

All climbers under the age of 18 must have an Inner Peaks waiver signed by their parent or court appointed guardian!

Peak Parties for Teens

Older groups will appreciate the extra challenge and freedom of our Peak Parties.

This is a private session for kids or groups ages 12 and older. Your instructor(s) will teach the group to operate a specially rigged rope system and then supervise them for two hours.

Cost: $105 for the first 5 participants plus $15 for each additional climber

KIDS GROUP OPTIONS:

Do you have a summer day trip to plan? Are you a Youth Group coordinator in need of that awesome activity? Looking for something to do that day off school?

We are the climbing place for you! We have climbing programs to accommodate larger groups with special pricing to go along with it!

We can accommodate your younger youth (ages 5-11) with our Kids Climb program. Don’t let your older youth (ages 12+) get bored; treat them to our Peak Party! Just give us a call and we can go over the details with you.

First Time Climbing for Kids

Under the age of 12 and want to climb? No problem.

• 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
• The adult must either learn to belay (handle the ropes) for the child by taking our $5, 15 minute gri-gri lesson or be able to pass a belay check administered by one of our staff.
• The belay test and harness rental for the adult will cost $9. The harness rental and day pass fee for the child will cost $16.
• An adult belayer (rope handler) will be unable to climb unless they have another adult who is belay certified with them and they pay the $14 day pass fee.

Are you age 12 or over? We can get you going right away too!

• The harness rental and day pass fee for ages 12 and up is $18.
• Children 12 and over are allowed to take the gri-gri lesson (rope handling lesson), but will have to demonstrate to our staff that they have the focus and skills to belay safely. If there is any doubt, the child will not be allowed to belay for safety reasons and a parent or other adult should be prepared to take over the rope handling duties.

Addition important information to make your check-in more efficient and your climbing experience more comfortable.

• All participants are required to have a completed Inner Peaks Waiver. Please print and fill out your waiver ahead to save time as you check in. ALL CLIMBERS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST HAVE A WAIVER SIGNED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
• A minimum adult to child ratio of 1:3 must be maintained. If your children are very young or very high maintenance, you should bring additional adults to supervise.  The rope handler’s attention must be 100% on the climber and young children must be properly supervised to maintain a safe climbing environment for all our customers.
• Any groups of 9 or more participants must be scheduled in advance. This allows us to have the appropriate number of staff on hand to serve you safely and efficiently.
• We recommend that first-time climbers wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. Shorts are fine, but no “short-shorts” (the climbing harness will feel very uncomfortable) or blue jeans (it’s hard to move).
• Kids & adults can easily climb in a pair of comfortable, tight fitting athletic shoes. We do offer specialized climbing shoes for rent that provide more secure footing on the wall. If you choose to rent climbing shoes, please bring socks.

Scouting Programs for Boys & Girls

Boy Scouts Climbing Merit Badge: Option 1

This Merit Badge Option meets all of the minimum climbing requirements for the Climbing Merit Badge in a single indoor day program!

Cost:
$50 per person for 5-10 participants.
$25 for each additional participant.
(Minimum of 5 participants).

BSA Climbing Merit Badge: Option 2

This one and a half day program that takes Option 1 to the next level: real rock! A half day is spent indoors here at Inner Peaks teaching those basic climbing requirements that prepare you for climbing outdoor on the real rock. The full day you’ll spend at Crowder’s Mountain where you will tackle longer more challenging climbs and rappels.

Cost:
$100 per person for 5-8 participants.
$50 for each additional participant.
(Minimum of 5 participants. Maximum of 12 participants for outdoor programs).

JUST CLIMBING FOR FUN?
If your Troop or Pack is just looking for a climbing outing, ask about our Kids Climb or Basic Peak Party – it may be the climbing option for you.

Girl Scout High Adventure Interest Project: Rock Climbing

We have customized an indoor program to meet the climbing requirements of the High Adventure Interest Patch. The program entails about 5 hours of instruction covering the basics of climbing, equipment required and putting those skills into action!

Cost:
$45 per person for 5-10 participants.
$22.50 for each additional participant.
(Minimum of 5 participants).

JUST CLIMBING FOR FUN?
If your Scouts or Junior Scouts are just looking for a climbing outing, the Kids Climb or Basic Peak Party may be the climbing option for you.

GROUP CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50% deposit based on maximum numbers is required to reserve a program. This deposit is fully refundable if cancellation is made at least two weeks prior to your scheduled program date. Should you reschedule within two weeks of your program, you may reschedule one time only a like program upon receipt of a $50 rescheduling fee. Instructor fees ($50/instuctor) may apply for day-of decreases in numbers, reschedules, or cancellations.
