Home School Days are back and better than ever!

Inner Peaks Home School Days are a great way to try climbing while networking and getting to know other home school families!

With our new format, we’ll have staff dedicated to accommodating our Home School patrons.

Pre-registration is required, with a deadline of the Sunday prior to the event.  With this great opportunity to bring your home-school group together, you can simply pre-register early and meet up the day of.

Inner Peaks offers a generous class cancellation policy of a full refund with cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled date.

Here’s how it works:

The cost will be $12*, which will include a day pass for the child (ages 11-), a harness for the child and a harness for the supervising adult. This is $8 off the regular price, for a savings of 40%.

Homeschoolers ages 12 & up may also climb for the $12 fee.*

You must check-in between 1PM-3PM, but families are welcome to stay as long as they like after they check in.

A parent can belay for more than one older child but must maintain an adult to child ratio of 1:3; the children will simply take turns. With really young children, or children who need a lot of supervision, you may want to go with a 1:1 ratio. For safety reasons, the parent’s FULL attention needs to be on the child who is climbing, not on supervising the children on the ground.

You can bring another person’s child, but be sure the parent has filled out our E-WAIVER prior to your visit.

Need directions? Inner Peaks is tricky to find and not visible from Monroe Rd, so be sure you know where it is before you set out.

*There is a one time $5 fee if you need the gri-gri lesson – a quick 15 minute lesson on how to safely use the ropes in the gym. Supervising adults must be safety certified.

The supervising adult(s) can either take/pass the belay test if they already know how to belay (no charge) or they  can take the gri-gri lesson (takes about 15 minutes) for a one time $5 fee.

A climber must be 12 or older to take the gri-gri lesson.
