Inner Peaks to host the USAC Mid Atlantic Regional Championships May 15th and 16th

We will have special hours on Saturday May 15th.  Open climbing session will run from 10am to 3pm. We encourage everyone to come and watch some of the best climbers in the mid-Atlantic as they compete for spots to move on to the Divisional, National and ultimately the World Championships.

Volunteers needed. We need certified belayers who are willing to help belay and judge both Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.  Don’t worry we will train you how to judge.  It’s easy!  We need more help on Saturday afternoon than we do on Sunday.  Please call or email chip@innerpeaks.com if you are interested in this up close look at some amazing climbers.

Competition Schedule:

Saturday May 15^th

3pm to 3:30pm Check-in

3:30pm Check-in closes, all competitors must be in iso.

3:45pm Competitors / Coaches meeting

4pm to 8pm Prelims

Prelims will consist of 3 onsite routes run back to back per USAC rules

Speed climbing will take place during prelims.  After a competitor completes his or her difficulty prelims they may sign in for Speed.

Sunday May 16^th

8am to 8:30am Check-in

8:30am Check-in closes, all competitors must be in iso.

8:45am Competitors Meeting / Coaches meeting

9am to 12noon Finals

Finals will consist of 1 onsite route per USAC rules
